FAIR PROPERTY TAX FOR ALL DECLARATION

We the People of the State of Florida hereby resolve to create a fair and equitable property tax system in order insure the prosperity of this beautiful state. 

Our quality of life, including our homes, our livelihoods and our families, is in jeopardy.  We are losing the American dream. We must act mmediately to establish fair property tax reform now. 

In commemoration of the world-renowned Boston Tea Party held on December 16, 1773 as a symbol of rebellion against unfair taxes, we are assembling here today to take matters into our own hands.  As Florida taxpayers we are fed up with skyrocketing property taxes and no foreseeable resolution.

We will rally the support of our elected officials.  We will educate the people about the importance of a citizen’s initiative to place a constitutional amendment on the ballot.  We will gather the necessary signatures in order to do so.  We will help our fellow citizen’s register to vote.  We will make the people aware of the power of unity.  Our voices will speak out as one that we have had enough.

The undersigned hereby agrees to implement the grassroots citizen’s initiative movement to sign 611,000 constitutional amendment petitions to limit all property taxes to 1.35%.  We also pledge to provide as the necessary resources to accomplish this goal financial or otherwise.
